New Account Manager and Sage 100 Consultant in Denver
It’s been more than 10 years since BCS merged with the Denver-based Sage Partner—ProSoft. In that time, we’ve moved our operations to the cloud giving our consultants the flexibility to work remotely. However, despite steady growth here at BCS ProSoft, we’ve lost touch with some of our local office culture—and that’s not okay.
Our Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) customers in Denver market have been asking for better local consultant availability; they wanted more options than what we had. They also felt the same way about their Account Manager; they wanted to be able to see and meet with their Account Manager if needed.
We took that feedback to heart, and today we’re happy to announce that we have a couple more resources in addition to some familiar faces you may already know available to our Sage customers in Denver.
Jay Thompson — ARM and Sage 100 Consultant
Jay comes to us with 15+ years of experience with Sage 100, Crystal Reports and Automated Rental Management (ARM). He has worked with all aspects of the system, and has a breadth of business experience that will translate to instant value to any customer he works with.
Jay previously served as the Controller for one of our largest equipment rental clients—NESCO LLC—for a number of years before serving as Director of HR at NESCO. He then went on to serve as the Controller for another BCS ProSoft client, Almco Steel Products before joining BCS ProSoft as a Senior Consultant.
Jay is dedicated to assisting internal and external customers with their needs. We feel that Jay’s firsthand experience and “get it done” attitude makes him a valuable resource for our clients. Outside of the office, Jay is a music man and enjoys playing basketball and tennis.
Brian Mikell — Sage 100 Account Manager
While not entirely new, Brian has been working for BCS ProSoft in San Antonio for nearly a year as an Account Manager before relocating to Denver. Brian initially applied for a vacant Project Management role, but after interviewing him we recognized that he has all of the enduring qualities of what we look for in an Account Manager. So we created a position for him and he hit the ground running in San Antonio.
Brian is in every sense—a people person. Don’t be fooled by his youth; he holds a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. in Business Administration from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He’s sharp, a good listener and is able to grasp the underlying issues of your problems with ease. His primary role is to manage the relationship with our Sage clients in Colorado and Hawaii. He is your go to person for scheduling consulting resources, upgrades, and everything else related to your system.
You’ll notice that he’s clean cut, but he used to sport an afro, dreadlocks, and a even a pony tail at one point.
Kathy Bedbury — Sage 100 and NetSuite Consultant
If you’ve been working with us for a while you’re probably familiar with Kathy, but it’s still worth reintroducing her. Kathy started with ProSoft and has been with BCS ProSoft from the beginning totaling more than 22 years! Prior to joining us she had hands-on experience with Sage (then MAS 200) in the manufacturing and distribution industries.
Kathy specializes in business process improvements for our Sage 100 customers. She is a certified consultant for Sage Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, Job Cost, Crystal Reports, and Sage Intelligence. Recently Kathy picked up a new skillset as a NetSuite Administrator and is now BCS ProSoft’s lead NetSuite Implementation consultant. Her deep understanding various Sage modules makes her the ideal consultant to lead implementations for Sage 100 users making the switch to NetSuite.
Another thing you may not know about Kathy: at home she is a beekeeper.
New Accounting & IT Staffing and Recruitment Service Offering
We’re also excited to announce that we’re bringing our new Sage-specific Accounting & IT staffing service offering to the Denver market. We created ERP ProStaff last year and perfected our newest service offering in Houston and San Antonio. What makes us different is that we specialize in helping you find staff who specialize in Sage 100. New Sage 100 Training Schedule
Throughout 2016 we will continue offering regular Sage 100 (MAS 90/200) training at our office in Greenwood Village. Classes are limited to for individuals and cover a wide variety of topics from AP and AR to beginner and advanced Crystal Reports. Their held on a rotting schedule so if you can’t make a class this quarter it will also be held next quarter. If you have a BCS ProSoft Customer Care plan you’re even eligible for one free training seat per quarter.
